About Us

BaliTourHub started from a real problem — not a business plan.

When we first tried to plan a trip to Bali for our customers years ago, we opened about thirty browser tabs. There were blog posts from 2015, Pinterest boards full of photos with no practical information, and forum threads where people argued about whether Ubud was "worth it." We had a spreadsheet with day numbers on one side and a growing list of places on the other. We had no idea if those places were even close to each other. We had no idea what a private driver would cost. We had no idea if we were trying to fit three days of driving into one.

It was exhausting before the trip even started.

That is where TourHub came from.

What We Do

We are a small team based in Bali. We work directly with local drivers, guides, and activity operators. We know the roads, the peak hours, the spots that are worth the early wake-up, and the ones that look great in photos but disappoint in person.

We built this website so that planning a Bali trip feels less like homework and more like something you actually enjoy doing.

The centrepiece of everything we do is the Plan Your Trip tool — a free, interactive trip planner that lives on your screen and works the way your brain works when you are trying to organise a holiday.

  • You pick the places you want to visit from a map of over 100 destinations across Bali.
  • You drag them into days. You move things around. You see the route on the map.
  • The tool calculates a private driver cost estimate as you build, so you always know roughly what you are looking at.
  • If you do not know where to start, Smart Recommendations will build a full itinerary for you in seconds — based on your trip style, how many days you have, and which part of Bali you want to focus on.

Nothing is locked behind a login. Nothing requires a deposit to try. You plan, we answer questions, you decide.

Our Vision

We want anyone — regardless of how much travel experience they have — to be able to walk off a plane in Bali with a well-thought-out itinerary they actually built themselves, with real knowledge behind each choice.

Not a generic package. Not a copy-pasted tour list. Something that fits their pace, their interests, and their budget.

Our Mission

To give every visitor to Bali access to the same quality of trip planning that used to require either hours of research or paying an expensive travel agent.

We do this by keeping our destination information up to date, by being honest about what things cost, by showing you the map so you can judge distances for yourself, and by being available as a real team — not a chatbot — when you have questions or are ready to confirm your trip.

How Booking Works

When your plan is ready, you can send it to us directly from the planner. We review it, check availability with our local network, and send you a full price breakdown within 24 hours. You read it, ask us anything, and only confirm when you are comfortable. No pressure, no deposits upfront, no surprises on arrival.

Most of our guests come back. That is the only metric we care about.

We are a small team based in Bali. Over the years we have built a working network of local private drivers — people who know the roads, the timing, and the shortcuts that do not appear on any map app. Many of these drivers have been working with tourists for a decade or more. Our job is to connect you with the right person for your trip and make sure the whole thing runs without surprises.

Yes, completely. You can use the planner as long as you want, build as many itineraries as you like, save your plan, and share it — all without paying anything or creating an account. We only get involved when you decide you want to book, and even then you do not pay anything until you have read the full price breakdown and confirmed you are happy with it.

Bali does not have a reliable public transport system. Getting between areas — say, from Seminyak to Ubud, or from Ubud to Kintamani — means either renting a scooter, taking an online taxi, or hiring a private driver for the day. A private driver waits for you at each stop, knows the area, and gets you from A to B without you having to negotiate fares or figure out routes. For most visitors, especially those covering multiple areas in a day, it is the most practical option.

It is a working estimate based on the total distance your driver would travel that day, calculated from the stops you have added. It is not a final confirmed price — road conditions, pickup location, and specific driver availability all affect the actual number. Once you send us your plan, we give you a confirmed quote. In our experience the estimate and the final price are usually within 10–15% of each other.

When your plan is ready, tap the booking button inside the planner and fill in a few details — your name, email, arrival date, and any notes. We review your itinerary, check with our driver network, and send you a full price breakdown by email, usually within 24 hours. You read it, ask us anything you want, and only confirm when you are ready. No deposit is required at this stage.

Yes. Until you have made a payment, everything is still open. If you want to swap a destination, add a day, or adjust the order, just reply to our email and we will update the quote. Even after payment, changes are usually possible as long as you let us know a few days in advance.

We cover the whole island — Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Ubud, Kintamani, Bedugul, Amed, Lovina, and Nusa Penida, among others. Some areas like Nusa Penida require a boat crossing, which we can also arrange. If you are unsure whether a specific place is within reach for a day trip, just ask.

Both. Some guests hire a driver for a single day. Others send us a 7-day plan covering multiple areas and want the whole trip handled — drivers, activity bookings, and timing. We work either way. The planner is built for multi-day trips but there is no minimum.

For most trips, a week in advance is enough. During peak season — July, August, and the Christmas–New Year period — we recommend at least two weeks, especially if you have specific dates or want particular activities that fill up quickly, like sunrise hikes or white water rafting.

That is fine and actually makes planning easier. Share your hotel names or areas when you send your booking request and we will factor in your pickup locations when planning routes and estimating driver costs.

That depends on what you want. A package tour gives you a fixed itinerary at a fixed price with minimal decisions. If you want to follow someone else's plan, that works. If you want to choose your own places, move at your own pace, linger somewhere longer, or skip something that does not interest you — that is where building your own plan makes more sense. We are here for the second type of traveller.
